Board-Certified Spine Surgery
A straight answer from a spine surgeon — surgery or no surgery.
Clear explanations. No pressure. No hospital agenda.
The problem
One doctor says surgery. Another says physical therapy. A third says you just need to live with it. You've spent months navigating a system that profits from complexity — and you still don't have a clear answer. You deserve a straight opinion from a surgeon who has nothing to sell you except the truth.
What you get
What's actually happening in your spine — explained in terms you can understand and act on, not medical jargon designed to confuse.
Surgery or no surgery. Physical therapy or watchful waiting. A clear position — not a hedge, not a referral carousel.
What to do with this information. Whether you pursue treatment locally, at miiSpine, or elsewhere — you leave with a plan.
How it works
Select the level of review that matches your situation — from a focused record review to a comprehensive surgical risk assessment.
Securely submit your MRI, CT scans, X-rays, and prior treatment notes. Standard DICOM and PDF formats accepted.
Depending on your tier, receive a written report or join a live telemedicine session with Dr. V to walk through your case directly.
A written summary you keep — what you have, what it means, and what to do next. No hospital agenda. No upsell.

The promise
"If surgery isn't the right answer, I'll say so."
Most spine consultations happen inside systems that benefit when you proceed with treatment. This is different. I have no hospital quota, no system agenda, and no financial incentive to recommend surgery. My only obligation is to give you an honest read of your specific situation — and tell you exactly what I would do if you were my own family member.
About Dr. V
I'm Venu Vemuri, DO — a board-certified, fellowship-trained minimally invasive spine surgeon and founder of miiSpine in Louisville, Kentucky.
I trained at Norton Leatherman Spine Center and have performed over 5,000 spine surgeries. I left a large group practice to build an independent practice — because I believe patients deserve a surgeon whose only loyalty is to them.
No BS Spine Consults exists because too many patients come to me confused, scared, and having received completely different recommendations from different doctors. This is my attempt to fix that — one honest conversation at a time.
